Gower Walking Weekend!

Join a sociable weekend of walking on the The Gower Peninsula of South Wales.  The Gower was Britain’s first designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and has some of Britain’s best coastal scenery.

Walks will start/end at Port Eynon or Rhossili Bay.

Saturday  9.30am - 3.30pm

9 mile walk starting from Port Eynon to Oxwich Bay and back.  There will be time to enjoy Oxwich Beach and if you wish to have a paddle!

Sunday  9.30am - 12.30pm

5 mile circular walk starting from Rhossili Bay.  We will finish the weekend with coffee/tea and cake at a cafe with sweeping views of Rhossili Bay.

Accommodation

We leave you to organise your own accommodation and meet up each morning to head out for 2 days of guided walks. 

Food/drink

No food/drink is included.

Grade: 

Active, a good level of fitness needed.  Some footpaths uneven rocky terrain.  Comfortable pace with plenty of breaks.  If you would like an elevation profile or more information re. the route please email me - info.walkingthehills@gmail.com

No dogs, except assistance dogs.

Over 18's.

Sturdy footwear essential.

A week before the walk a detailed information sheet will be emailed to you, with details of meeting point and parking information.
