MALVERN HILLS PARKING GUIDE

Where to Park in the Malvern Hills

The Malvern Hills offer a range of car parks and access points, making it easy to explore the ridge, valleys, and surrounding countryside. Whether you are planning a short walk, a circular route, or a full ridge hike across the 17 hills, there are plenty of convenient places to start your visit. Most car parks are managed by the Malvern Hills Trust, with additional parking available in Great Malvern and nearby towns.

Main Car Parks for the Malvern Hills

British Camp Car Park

British Camp (Herefordshire Beacon) is one of the most popular starting points on the Malvern Hills. It provides direct access to the central ridge and is ideal for both short walks and longer ridge routes.

Upper Beacon Road Car Park (Worcestershire Beacon)

This car park is the best option for walkers heading to Worcestershire Beacon, the highest point in the Malvern Hills. A short climb leads directly to panoramic views across the region.

North Quarry Car Park

North Quarry is ideal for exploring the northern Malvern Hills, including North Hill and End Hill. It also offers excellent views over Great Malvern.

Swinyard Car Park

Located in the southern section of the hills, Swinyard Car Park is a great starting point for quieter walks towards Midsummer Hill, Raggedstone Hill, and Chase End Hill.

Earnslaw Car Park

Earnslaw Car Park provides access to quieter walking routes on the western side of the Malvern Hills, away from the main tourist areas.

Malvern Link Car Parks

Malvern Link offers convenient town parking for visitors who want to combine a walk with cafés, shops, or a stroll into the hills.
