🚂 Severn Valley Railway Steam Train & Riverside Walk - 4.5 miles🚶‍♂️

When I recced this route, I absolutely loved it — it’s such a beautiful mix of nostalgia, nature, and peaceful river views.

We’ll start our day with a steam train ride from Bewdley to Arley, a delightful 15-minute journey through the countryside on the historic Severn Valley Railway. Train ticket is included, and we’ll board the train together as a group.

(I’ll aim for us to travel on a steam service rather than a diesel, depending on the timetable.)

Once we arrive in Arley, we’ll stop at the refreshments hut, where anyone who fancies a take-out hot drink or snack can grab one before we set off on foot.

The 4.5-mile walk follows the River Severn, winding through tranquil woodland and open stretches with wonderful river scenery.
