LEARN TO NORDIC WALK WORKSHOP

GROUP NORDIC WALKS
If you’ve completed a 2-hour workshop with me or are already a Nordic walker, you’re invited to join our group walks!

Why I started  Nordic Walking?

As you know, I love walking, but I wanted more of an overall workout. I’m not really a gym person — although sometimes I try — I really just want to exercise outside and be in nature. Nordic walking is perfect because it gives me a full-body workout while still enjoying the outdoors. Now that I’m a certified instructor, I want to share that with you!

What is Nordic Walking?

Nordic walking is a full-body walking technique using poles to propel yourself forward while engaging your upper body and core. Unlike trekking poles, Nordic walking poles are designed to enhance your walking technique and maximize the workout.

The method is based on the INWA (International Nordic Walking Federation) 10-Step Method, ensuring correct posture, safe technique, and effective movement.

The term “Nordic walking” originated in Finland, where cross-country skiers used it as off-season training. Today, it’s a popular fitness activity worldwide.

Why Learn to Nordic Walk?

Learning proper Nordic walking technique is fun, social, and great for your body. In my Learn to Nordic Walk sessions, you’ll:

  • Have fun while exercising — enjoy the outdoors and meet new people

  • Tone your arms — say goodbye to “bingo wings”

  • Tone your tummy — engage your core muscles for posture, stability, and strength

  • Engage 90% of your muscles — get a full-body workout with every stride

  • Improve posture, balance, and stability

  • Build confidence to Nordic walk anywhere

Nordic walking is not just exercise — it’s enjoyable, social, and effective. Every session leaves you feeling energised and motivated to keep moving!
